Where Texas A&M football players are landing in 2022 NFL mock drafts
Texas A&M football NFL Draft prospects, continued…
Jalen Wydermyer: 202nd, 219th, UD
At one point in time, Jalen Wydermyer was considered a possible first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Unfortunately, he had an extremely poor offseason of testing, which has sent his draft stock into a very aggressive downward spiral. Wydermyer should still be picked up but his lack of athleticism has scouts believing that he has been downgraded to late-round status.
Leon O’Neal Jr.: 174th, 239th, UD
Leon O’Neal Jr. did everything right in College Station, filling the stat sheet over his four-year career. the Aggie safety earned significant playing time from the get-go, accumulating six interceptions, 10 tackles for loss, 12 pass deflections, and a defensive touchdown in his college career.
O’Neal’s speed and lack of consistency have slightly tanked his draft projections but he possesses the athleticism to be an extremely effective NFL player.
