Los Alamitos, CA. Malachi Nelson. 1. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 808. QB. player

Here’s the big kahuna. The talk of the town, you could say. Top quarterback recruit Malachi Nelson is again on the Aggies’ radar. The California native has had given Texas A&M fans a lot of hope over the past month, and they are running with it.

Nelson is the No. 2 player in the entire country, along with being the second-ranked quarterback behind Arch Manning and is the No. 1 player in California. Nelson is a 6’3, 182-pound elite prospect at the quarterback position who could possibly be a package deal with his future teammate, Zachariah Branch.

At the moment, it seems to be just a race between Jimbo Fisher and Lincoln Riley to secure the quarterback’s services. It really seems like the Aggies have all the momentum for Nelson, considering they were able to bring him in to the pool party in late July. If Coach Fisher can keep a full-court press on Nelson, he may just have it in him to steal not just one top-5 recruit, but two from the same college.
