2. The Texas A&M football team’s freshmen

One of the most exciting parts of Texas A&M football is the recruiting. As mentioned before, this staff has hauled in some very impressive classes on paper. Well, on paper, this past cycle was a historic class not just for school history, but for NCAA history.

This freshmen class features eight five-stars, 21 four-stars, and two three-stars. With that many elite recruits, some are bound to see the field early on. One of the most exciting parts of college football is watching players grow. We get to start seeing this historic class grow this season.

Three of those elite recruits are now a part of the wide receiver room; Five-star Evan Stewart, five-star Chris Marshall, and four-star Noah Thomas. Two of these three, one most certainly being Stewart should be getting a good amount of snaps this season, which will be fun to watch.

On the defensive line, top-10 recruits Walter Nolen and Shemar Stewart could both see playing time this season, which means they could make a big impact on a fresh defensive line right away. There are also two more five-star defensive lineman in Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy and Lebbeus Overton who could play a bit this season.

There are so many names to watch this season. It will be very exciting to watch these young players this season and get an early look as to what the future holds for the Aggies.
