Texas A&M Football: 4 Aggies facing make-or-break seasons in 2022
When you’re looking for a favorite target for King on this Aggies roster, the first person that comes to mind has to be Jalen Preston. He has the size, speed, and receiving ability to be a number one receiver in this offense.
Last season, Jalen Wydermyer was the top target for the Aggies, but Preston was still able to produce with 17 catches for 255 yards and two touchdowns. Now with Wydermyer gone, the senior needs to step up and show why he was a four-star recruit and a top 100 prospect.
He can make tough catches and has reliable hands, which makes him a quarterback’s dream on the outside for those 50-50 jump balls. He’s also a big target going across the middle and has a knack for finding the soft spots in zone coverage to make plays. If he can get off to a fast start in 2022, then it will be a good sign for this Texas A&M offense.
