The linebacker room for the Aggies has a ton of potential in terms of its starters. Andre White Jr. has shown flashes at times, but he has yet to put an entire good season together, going into senior year. He tends to show more against weaker competition, but started to come along towards the end of last season.

Edgerrin Cooper is labeled as the other starter, and he is in line to have a huge season. He will be replacing Aaron Hansford after he left to the NFL. Cooper struggled with missed tackles last season mostly due to poor pursuit angles, but he started to look very good after midway through the season.

Off the bench will be senior Chris Russell Jr. and junior Tarian Lee Jr. Both don’t have much game action as of yet, but have shown promise in the snaps they’ve been given. There’s not much to be super excited about in terms of the young stars and their recruit rankings in this group, as there are just two three-star freshmen behind the others. However, Fisher did land a 2023 commitment from five-star prospect Anthony Hill.
