2. Texas A&M football has game-changers on both sides of the ball

What helps make this Aggie team stick out is the stars on both sides of the line of scrimmage. If a big play needs to happen, these guys can get it done, and in big games and big moments, those are essential to a team’s success.

On the offense, you have multiple stars, starting with running back Devon Achane. Achane might be the star on the offense. He is as efficient as it gets, averaging almost seven yards per carry during his collegiate career. He is a big play machine and can get an offense rolling quickly.

There is also Layden Robinson and Bryce Foster along the offensive line, who are both among many preseason accolade lists. Wide receiver Ainias Smith is also looking to breakout this season as well.

On the defensive side of the football, defensive back Antonio Johnson sticks out like a sore thumb. A sore thumb that hits like a freight train. He is another specimen on the defense who is likely an early NFL Draft pick after the season, and he will captain this team.

Demani Richardson is another stud in the secondary who will be an impact starter this year at the safety position. Linebacker Edgerrin Cooper will be flying all over the field now that he doesn’t have to sit behind Aaron Hansford. This team has star talent everywhere, and they will shine brightest when times are the dimmest.
