3. LB Edgerrin Cooper

Edgerrin Cooper is a name you need to get familiar with as he will replace recently departed Aaron Hansford. Cooper is a downhill player that was all over the field as he appeared in all 12 games last year. He was a 2021 SEC All-Freshman with 58 tackles and 5.5 tackles for loss, and I expect the redshirt sophomore to be flying all over the field making big-time plays for the Aggies this fall.

Aggie fans need to be prepared to hear the redshirt sophomore’s name early and often over the load speaker at Kyle Field. He will be dynamic and ready to plug holes and chasing down the opposing team’s running back. Make sure you know his name and look for #45 on the field when the A&M defense lines up to stop SHSU in the season opener.
