4. DB Jardin Gilbert

Jardin Gilbert should be the safety on the opposite side of the field from Demani Richardson. Gilbert is a sophomore that played in all 12 games last year and will be sliding in to replace Leon O’Neal this season.  Gilbert will have some big shoes to fill replacing a 4-year veteran.

With high praise from Ainias Smith, I think the Aggies should be looking for how #20 is playing on the field against SHSU on Saturday. Gilbert will be ready to take on the the SEC this fall and help make it a no fly zone. Let’s see if he can pick the ball off during his first start at safety and make a name for himself all season long.
