5. The tight ends

What do we make of the tight end position? I am going to cheat a little on this one because I don’t know who is going to steal the show at TE.  We could see any of these four on the field against SHSU: Max Wright, Jake Johnson, Theo Melin Ohrstrom, or Blake Smith. I am really intrigued to see this position on the field. The veteran, Max Wright should get the nod to start but he has some super talented guys behind him.

The SHSU game should be a good indicator on where we stand with our tight ends. Wright (#42) might have the job to start but Jake Johnson (#19) or Theo Melin Ohrstrom (#86) both highly recruited freshmen should be ready to put their athleticism on display this Saturday. Keep your eyes open for the TE’s on the field as this will be an ongoing competition until someone proves to be the best out of the group.

Don’t count out Blake Smith (#11), the sophomore Texas native out of Southlake Carrol. He could also put his name in the hat to prove he can be special player for the Aggies. Aggie fans, be ready to watch the tight end position and decide who you think impresses you the most against SHSU.
