Gameday is getting close for Appalachian State and Texas A&M Football. The two teams square off on Saturday, and points should be aplenty. If you’re a fan of offenses, this will be the game for you.

We all know what these two teams will bring to the table for the most part. We will see some high-powered offenses and one high-powered defense go at each others’ necks. We will see a lot of footballs in the air and many chunk plays from both ends.

However, what are some things we may not be expecting for Saturday? What can the Aggies do to prove everyone right, labeling them as College Football Playoff contenders? Here are three bold predictions for the Aggies in the Saturday firework show.

1. Haynes King goes for 400 total yards

Haynes King had some great moments in the route of Sam Houston State. He had multiple 40+ yard touchdown passes while also being effective on the ground. Now that he’s facing a worse defense, and he’s had a taste of game action, King is ready to explode.

If Drake Maye can go for over 400+ total yards, King can most certainly match that. With the talent around him, plus his mobility and big-time throws, King should absolutely rack up yardage quickly and often.

If you find any bets relating to King’s passing yards, spam that over. There is no reason why King can’t dominate this Mountaineer defense that allowed 63 points last week.
