Texas A&M football is coming into Week 3 looking to forget about what happened last Saturday. Despite losing already, they will be facing an even tougher test this upcoming Saturday against the No. 13 team in the nation, the Miami Hurricanes.

As for Miami, they are coming off of a 30-7 win against Southern Miss. They are 2-0, after also blowing out Bethune-Cookman in Week 1 as well, and they boast one of college football’s best run defenses through two weeks.

As stated before, this is the Aggies’ biggest test to this point, but it is also easily the Hurricanes’ biggest test so far. It is a Top-25 battle that should boast two really good defenses. It will certainly be interesting to see how not only Texas A&M’s offense fares, but how Miami’s does against an actually competent defense.

Texas A&M football vs. Miami Week 3 prediction

There’s one thing for certain, and that’s that there is no predicting how this game will go. It could easily be a tale of two halves, especially considering Haynes King could be on a shorter leash in Week 3.

Here’s the thing: Miami is feeling good. They’re on a roll, and they’re getting it done offensively and defensively. Texas A&M is not, and they’ve shown to this point that they take time to get going offensively.

If I’m making a prediction, I expect this one to come down to the wire, similar to last week. I would like to lean toward the favored Aggies, especially at home, but if I’m making a specific prediction, I expect Miami to control the lead at the start at the very least. Give me the Hurricanes early on, and it’s a coin flip after that.
