Texas A&M vs. Miami: Everything you need to know about the Hurricanes
Offense preview
The Hurricane offense is led by junior quarterback Tyler Van Dyke. Van Dyke has been the focus of a lot of preseason hype, and so far he’s had a good start to the year. In two games, he has logged 454 passing yards, three passing touchdowns, and one interception on a 73.3 completion percentage.
Their bread-and-butter so far seems to be the run game, which features two backs in Henry Parrish Jr. and Thaddius Franklin Jr. The two-headed monster that is Parrish and Franklin have combined for 344 rushing yards, seven rushing touchdowns, and 59 receiving yards on seven catches.

The receiving corps took a hit after Charleston Rambo left for the NFL after last season, but they seem to have a new go-to target in Xavier Restrepo. The pass-catcher currently has 11 receptions for 172 yards and a touchdown, leading Miami in each of those categories. Besides Restrepo, Miami has two other players with over 50 receiving yards in Michael Redding III (76) and Brashard Smith (65).
The offensive line has been pretty good so far this season, allowing just three sacks this season in two games (one was actually a fault of the running back). They currently rank 35th in the country in run blocking and 33rd in run blocking according to PFF.
