There is nothing Texas A&M football fans are more excited for than this game right here. It gives them a chance to be at Kyle Field one more time before the team goes on a four week road trip, and to put the loss to Appalachian State behind them.

After getting all three of my bets wrong last week, I am here to try again. We will be using FanDuel Sportsbook’s odds and bets they have for the game, and hopefully this time around, things go a bit better.

Best Texas A&M football bets for Week 3 vs. Miami

Over 1Q 9.5 points (-120)

While this bet completely backfired on me last week, I somehow feel more confident in this one again this week. Whether things go right or wrong for the Aggies, this one has a good chance of hitting.

If Miami escapes the first quarter with just a 7-3 lead, this bet will hit. If Texas A&M’s offense wakes up with Max Johnson under center, 10 points total from both teams should be a piece of cake. -120 odds is a fair return for a bet I could easily see hitting the over.

Devon Achane any time touchdown scorer (-145)

Speaking of the offense waking up, running back Devon Achane should be seeing quite a few touches in this one. Max Johnson loves using the short and intermediate game, and having a receiving weapon like Achane could result in some huge plays with his ability in open space; one of which could end in the end zone.

Even if he’s not featured in the pass game, Achane is a tough runner who’s scored two touchdowns on the ground so far this season. Also, you can never count out his ability to return a kick or punt to the house, as he did so just last week.

Texas A&M winning margin 1-6 points (+360)

I am still not very confident in the Aggies’ current -6.5 spread, but FanDuel Sportsbook does offer different winning margins for both teams. In this case, I will be taking Texas A&M winning by less than seven points.

I feel this is actually the safest bet for hopeful Aggie fans, yet one that could yield some great returns with +360 odds. If the teams end up keeping this a close one, which could certainly be the case, this bet could certainly hit if things go right for Jimbo Fisher and the Ags.
