It’s been an emotional roller coaster over the last day and half since the game ended.  I’ve vacillated between encouragement at how this undeniably extremely young Texas A&M football team performed in their toughest test yet by far, to disappointment that the Aggies were unable to win after everything that happened, to wondering what the effect would be on the college football world had Haynes just thrown that last ball one second earlier.  But, at the end of it all, I can’t put how I feel better than Clint Stoerner did on Twitter:

Word to the wise: don’t venture into the comment section of that one unless you wish to see scores of clueless Longhorns accusing the former Arkansas QB of being an Aggie.  But his point is a good one: no matter how you slice it, there are inescapable positives, even from a loss as disappointing as that.  So what are they?  What are the negatives?  What can we take away from the game?  Let’s discuss.
