I bet you can’t guess which coach took another shot at Texas A&M football out of nowhere on Twitter.

Sorry, I mean I bet you CAN guess which coach took another shot at Texas A&M football out of nowhere on Twitter.

Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin, famous for coaching so poorly he got fired on a tarmac, has apparently made it his life’s mission to take potshots at Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M. In case you’re not connecting the dots here, the point is that you’re supposed to replace the dots with letters, apparently spelling out “Texas A and M” (though Kiffin apparently forgot one period). This is the same format he used earlier to “subtly” call out the Aggies.

Kiffin has carried a grudge against Jimbo and the Aggies for a while. In their narrow win over Texas A&M football last season, Kiffin was caught on camera yelling untoward things to 18-year-old Bryce Anderson. In an apparent reference to Jimbo calling fellow coaches that had intimated the Aggies cheated in recruiting “clowns,” Kiffin had this to say:

After the Aggies flipped the Rebels’ quarterback commit Marcel Reed before signing day, Kiffin began—doubtless, through tears—to retweet comments Reed had made about anticipated NIL earnings. Very creative.

It doesn’t help things that the Aggies have now hired two coaches away from Kiffin’s Ole Miss staff—defensive coordinator DJ Durkin and RB coach Marquel Blackwell—that, by all accounts, Kiffin wanted to keep. Shocking in itself—tough to imagine that this is a guy that any coach wouldn’t want to work for!

Still, this all seems very one-sided, as the only reference made in public to Kiffin by any A&M staffer was the single press conference Jimbo gave last February. Odds are this is not the last we will hear from Kiffin with regard to the Aggies. It seems like it’s tough for him to keep Jimbo and A&M out of his head.
