Texas A&M football head man Jimbo Fisher gets his highest rated recruit of the 2024 class—and his 7th commit in the month of June!—from the highly touted Dre’lon Miller.

Miller is a composite 4 star player (though some services list him as a 5 star), and is 65th ranked player nationally, and 12th overall receiver in the 2024 class. He is listed at 6’ 0” 190 pounds, and excels at contested catches. He caught 21 touchdowns, ran for 3 more, and recorded almost 1,400 yards of offense in his junior season.

Miller is extremely shifty. He has some good speed to him as well, but he doesn’t really need it with how elusive he is. He creates fantastic separation on his routes and has great hands that can pull down almost anything. Dre’lon is a very polished player and his play style is very fun to watch.  As a natural scorer, will be an explosive plug and play receiver for the Aggies.

With Miller’s commitment, Texas A&M football is quietly putting together a great class early in the year. They are now ranked 15th overall with 13 commitments and putting together a strong receiver class with the addition of Miller. They already have a commitment from Debron Gatling, and are in the running for 5 stars Micah Hudson, Cameron Coleman, and Terry Bussey.

Miller took a visit on June 21st to the Aggies, and since then has been trending towards A&M. He has had some flirtations with USC but it appears this last visit was the final push towards the Aggies that Miller needed to come home. Miller is another huge momentum swing for Fisher and the Aggies. He marks the 7th commitment since June 14th, and is the 4th blue chip since then. These commitments could be huge for bringing big names to College Station, like linebacker Tyanthony Smith and offensive tackle Blake Ivy who has recently been trending towards Texas A&M.

Jimbo Fisher has been doing a fantastic job this summer putting the foundations for a massive recruiting class to bring home to College Station.
