Though football season has yet to kick off in earnest, hype video season among Texas A&M football fans has been in full swing for quite some time. Yet among the Aggie faithful, there is one name that is spoken of always in hushed tones during this time of year. One who has his every post awaited with extreme anticipation. I speak, of course, of the man, the myth, the legend, Cold Chedda himself.

As linked in the above tweet, you can find the full video at this link.

Who is Cold Chedda, you may ask? He is many things to many people. The man behind the curtain, pulling the strings that trigger the enthusiasm of Texas A&M football fans the world over. A shadowy figure, his identity unknown, who deigns once every blue moon to leave us with a morsel—a crumb—to sate our appetites for football; yet with every offering, that appetite is whetted all the more.

Pretty much, he makes hype videos. But they’re all really good! My favorite is the one he did before 2018. That was the one that inspired me to make a couple of videos myself. Of course, both times I did, the season did not go well. So I’ve decided to abstain moving forward (at least until next year!).

In any case, check Cold Chedda’s video out. You won’t be sorry you did.
