“The Pulse: Texas A&M Football” shows big win over Auburn

The weekly show from 12th Man Productions, “The Pulse: Texas A&M Football” has returned for the 4th week this season. It’s always good to catch these, and especially so after a victory. You can see it below:

This episode does a great job of highlighting new 12th Man Sam Matthews. It recaps his journey to living in Texas, as well as his collegiate athletic journey to join the Aggies. By the end, viewers definitely come away with a real appreciation for all the hard work that Matthews has put it, and you can see his patience and desire to be the key cog in this team that he now is.

That theme of standing ready to be called into action that permeates the story of the 12th Man becomes all too relevant in the midst of the game that the Aggies find themselves in. After a low shot on QB Conner Weigman—one that we now know will cost him the remainder of his sophomore season, though this fact is not touched on in this episode—Max Johnson steps up to the plate. As we all know, his stellar play in the second half of the game led the Aggies to victory.

Despite the low moment of Weigman’s injury, this was a fun episode to watch. Jimbo seemed like he had a little something extra in his pregame and halftime talks. He reassures Rueben Owens in his postgame locker room speech after Owens’s fumble led to Auburn’s only touchdown of the day. Several times you see him on the sideline speaking to the team midgame—something you didn’t see in previous years.

Overall, another great episode. Excited to see next week’s edition!
