Top 5 players left on the schedule for Texas A&M football

The bye week is a time to regroup and look ahead, and though Texas A&M football fans are disgruntled (to put it lightly) with how things went over the past two games, this is still a highly talented football team that can accomplish a lot. 9-3 was the regular season mark that many Aggie fans considered as representing a successful season coming into the year—and while that will be quite the tough road to hoe at this point with two road games against ranked opponents looming on the schedule, it’s still not quite ruled out.

As I said, though, it would be no small feat to accomplish. Even when facing opponents that this Texas A&M football team should definitely defeat, the Aggies will have their hands full with a lot of high-level competition. Life in the SEC never stops! Here’s how the schedule shakes out the rest of the way:

  • October 28: vs. South Carolina
  • November 4: at Ole Miss
  • November 11: vs. Mississippi State
  • November 18: vs. Abilene Christian
  • November 25: at LSU

It will really be those two road games that will decide how things go. Split, and you have a great chance of going 9-4 with a bowl win. Win both, and you could even still get to 10 wins. Neither of these teams rolls out an extremely skilled defense, though both have their stars, but both have extremely dynamic offenses. Oxford is a less intimidating venue than Baton Rouge, of course, and the Aggies are much more talented when compared to the Rebels than when compared to the Tigers—and probably a bit better of a matchup as well.

With all that said, let’s check out who the top players are that the Aggies will play down the stretch.
