College Football Week 10 Viewing Guide

It’s hard to believe it’s already college football week 10! It feels like kickoff was just a couple of weeks ago, but now we only have a few weeks remaining! Savor these last moments! Or don’t—I can’t tell you what to do! But that won’t stop me from trying. Case in point: I am about to tell you what to watch.

College Football Week 10: The Early Slate

First Screen: Texas A&M @ 10 Ole Miss (12 PM ET/11 AM CT, ESPN)
This is a pivotal game for both squads, in much different ways. Texas A&M is looking to make a name, while Ole Miss is trying to keep their dying conference championship hopes alive. Who will win? None can say. One thing is for sure: Lane Kiffin will say something dumb.

Second Screen: 15 Notre Dame @ Clemson (12 PM ET/11 AM CT, ABC)
There isn’t much in college football that comes close to approximating the 30 Years War, but this is probably the closest we’ll get, unless Hillsdale takes on the Irish one day. Or, I don’t know, they play Baylor or something. What I’m trying to say is that Dabo has a megachurch pastor vibe.

College Football Week 10: The Afternoon Slate

First Screen: 12 Missouri @ 2 Georgia (3:30 ET/2:30 CT, CBS)
This would be a surprising ranked win for Georgia, one that not many people saw coming in the preseason. Will it be enough for the committee to slot them back ahead of Ohio State after the Buckeyes spend just one week in the top slot? No idea!

Second Screen: 9 Oklahoma @ 22 Oklahoma State (3:30 ET/2:30 CT, ABC)
This final edition of Bedlam promises to be nothing short of a football game. One thing is for sure, and it’s that there will be guys out there playing football. You can bet your mortgage on the fact that there will be college-aged individuals engaging in gridiron sport during this time slot. Beyond that, I can’t predict much here.

College Football Week 10: The Evening Slate

First Screen: 14 LSU @ 8 Alabama (7:45 ET/6:45 CT, CBS)
For the first time since 2011-2012, it looks like we will have back to back years of compelling LSU-Alabama games! That’s pretty exciting. Or, you know, Alabama could choke them out slowly and boringly, just like every time we think there’s a chance for a competitive rematch between these two. I’d be surprised if that happens, though!

Second Screen: 5 Washington @ 20 USC (7:30 ET/6:30 CT, ABC)
Washington has had a couple of very close calls in the last few weeks since soundly defeating rival Oregon. USC… has been doing something. Playing football, I think. These are normally on too late for a man of fragile constitution such as I, so I have to just look at the box score and go “whuhhh?” Such is my lot in life. But I do not complain. I just blog.

Next. 3 reasons the Aggies get a much-needed road win at Ole Miss. dark
