Turning Points from Texas A&M Football vs Ole Miss

That was a tough loss for Texas A&M football. They fought all the way back from down 14 to take the lead in the waning minutes of the game, but were unable to finish off with their defense. Even so, the offense gave the team even one more chance, but the field goal unit couldn’t come through. That’s just such a huge bummer for a team that had been needing nothing more than an average offensive performance in their two previous losses in order to come out on top. It’s things like this that make you feel like the team just won’t put it all together at once.

Of course, that’s more emotional reasoning than rational reasoning. There are good things to take forward from this game, to be sure; many positives to be had as the Aggies go forward into their last three games of this year. Not every team will have this Kiffin offense which seems so uniquely suited to take advantage of the few issues the defense does have. That said, the losses keep piling up. I’ll have to write a more big-picture article later on this week, but for now, I’ll just say that things are a mixed bag.

Again, though, with such a small margin that Texas A&M football lost by, there are no shortage of inflection points to choose from, from the first quarter to the final play. What could the Aggies have done differently? Where did they go wrong? Let’s take a look at the three biggest swing points from this contest against Ole Miss.
