Texas A&M Football Transfer Portal Targets: ATH Raleek Brown, USC

Brown is a former five-star prospect who followed Lincoln Riley from Oklahoma to USC, flipping his commitment when the former Sooner head man absconded for the west coast. His versatility and explosiveness were highly valued among schools that were vying for his talents, but he saw fit to lend those to a coach and offense that have built a reputation for producing big-name talents.

Apparently, the bright lights of LA (or the increasingly suspect coaching style of Riley) were not what Brown expected, as he is now looking elsewhere. Brown did not record many statistics in his time in SoCal, and the majority of his production was in 2022. That year, he recorded 16 receptions for 175 yards as well as 42 carries for 227 yards, with three TDs receiving and three TDs rushing. This past year, however, Brown only managed three receptions and three carries, for 18 and 16 yards respectively. He notched a rushing touchdown, but had none receiving.

Brown is on the diminutive side, coming in at only 5’8″ and 185 pounds. Even so, he is an explosive talent, and the Aggies could sure use some juice on their offense with Ainias Smith outbound. He fits the same profile as Ainias, and would fit in well in Aggieland. Again, though, this is a guy who will be highly sought after, so Texas A&M football will have their work cut out for them.
