Texas A&M Football Transfer Portal Targets: CB Will Lee, Kansas State

Will Lee is a cornerback out of Kansas State. Only a sophomore, he came onto the scene strong this past season, notching 42 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 2 interceptions. That’s pretty strong production for a highly-regarded unit in the Wildcat defense.

Lee is a long and rangy corner at 6’3″ and 185 LBs. Longtime Texas A&M football fans and close observers will recall that this build of defensive back is Elko’s preferred profile at the position; Myles Jones, who Elko coached to be one of the top DBs in the nation this past year, fits this profile well.

Lee has put up a significant enough performance in his one year in Manhattan that many programs are taking notice. This is another one where the Aggies will have to fight for his signature. Auburn, Ole Miss, and Florida are other SEC programs that have already offered Lee. Just like with Catalon, though, now that the defensive backs coaches are settled for the Aggies, hopefully they can begin to make a push soon.
