Five-star players that Texas A&M football could potentially land in 2026 cycle
While the 2025 cycle is still technically ongoing, Texas A&M football has all but closed the books on that class, and are already looking forward to what will no doubt be an eye-popping 2026 group. The Aggies already have some top talent committed in a class that currently ranks no. 2 in the nation, and they're not done.
While they've collected quite the grouping of talent so far, they have yet to land any five-stars by the numbers. Even so, they're on the list for quite a few. In this article, I outline the players who, if the cycle ended today, would rank in those top 32 players in the nation, and who have an interest in the Aggies.
First, though, some honorable mentions: players who are just outside 5-star territory right now who either have a high interest in A&M or are actually current Aggie commits.
Honorable mentions:
EDGE Jordan Carter (A&M Commit, 34th in the composite)
WR Aaron Gregory (A&M Commit, 36th in the composite)
RB Jonathan Hatton Jr (41st in the composite)
S Jireh Edwards (42nd in the composite)
2026 5-stars Texas A&M football fans should know: ATH Davian Groce
Groce is the 28th-ranked player in the 247Sports Composite. Though he only has a four-star ranking at the moment, at the end of the cycle the top 32 players all receive five-star ratings, so for these purposes he is considered as such.
He can play both running back and receiver, being a versatile offensive weapon. His abilities would help out the Aggies in a big way in Klein's system.
His recruitment has really heated up recently, with the Aggies being near the forefront. They'll have some stiff competition, though, with teams like FSU, Tennessee, and Texas all vying for Groce's services.
Being a local kid from Lone Star in Frisco, the Aggies should have a bit of an inside track here over some of those out-of-state schools. I wouldn't be surprised to see this one turn into a battle between the Aggies and Longhorns.
