2026 5-stars Texas A&M football fans should know: OT Jackson Cantwell (Composite no. 1, Nixa MO)
The number one player in the land is a guy that has warmed quickly on the Aggies recently. Cantwell visited A&M this past weekend alongside Iheanacho, giving Aggie fans visions of what a fearsome duo these two would strike along the same offensive line.
There's a long way to go before something like that would become a realistic possibility, but the Aggies are really the only program in serious contention for both guys. That would be the OL haul to end all OL hauls, of course, but we can dream.
Cantwell himself is a plug and play left tackle. Standing at 6'7.5" and 300 LBs, he boasts a hulking and long frame already, making him a perfect fit at LT.
When you're talking about the top player in the nation, though, you're always going to have some solid competition. Missouri, Oregon, and Ohio State are also in contention for the Nixa, MO native— two powers and the home-state school. A&M will have a tough row to hoe if they want to bring Cantwell into the fold, but Adam Cushing has shown that he has the chops to pull something like this off.
