Texas A&M's season last year changed course dramatically once Le'Veon Moss got knocked out of the game against South Carolina. The injury he sustained early in that game is one that would end up sidelining him for the rest of the season, which greatly cost the team.

The severity of the injury he suffered had him miss all of spring football, which is obviously less than ideal. For a guy who projects to be the lead running back for the Aggies and one of the best offensive weapons overall, you'd really hope that he were able to play in spring ball.

That was an expected absence, of course, as was his prospective absence for at least part of fall camp. The news has been good so far, though, and the Aggies just got a massive boost with this latest tidbit from Mike Elko.

Mike Elko says Le'Veon Moss will be 100% for start of Texas A&M fall camp

In comments last night to the Brazos County A&M Club, Mike Elko gave a really exciting update on Moss's progress from injury, forecasting him to be completely ready for fall camp.

That's a huge boost for this Aggie team given the importance of Moss as an offensive weapon in this system. The team with him looked entirely different than they did without him, though the valiant efforts of Amari Daniels and Rueben Owens were inspiring.

The Aggies have had trouble with injuries at this position, too, as the aforementioned Owens missed nearly the entire season after a fall camp injury last year. If the stable of backs is at full strength in the upcoming year, it will transform Collin Klein's system.

Moss is the top dog in the room, though. His combination of speed and power, as well as his ability in the open field, is uncommon, and he's clearly the class of the RB position for the Aggies— though Owens and the two freshmen have considerable abilities of their own. This is massive news for the 2025 season for the Aggies.
