Ar'maj Reed-Adams is off the board for Texas A&M football, as the former Aggie offensive lineman is now headed to the Buffalo Bills after being selected with the 241st pick in the seventh round of the NFL Draft. Reed-Adams is the tenth Aggie to be selected in this draft, furthering the record that was set earlier today.

NFL fans don't often think much of seventh-round selections— after all, there's hardly a guarantee they'll make the team— but Buffalo fans should not get it twisted: Reed-Adams is going to defy those odds. He is the exact kind of player who can be a big contributor to a franchise that prides itself on physicality.

Reed-Adams was only with the Aggies for two years after transferring from Kansas, but in that short time, he was a key cog in completely transforming the offensive line unit. You had to be there to understand just how bad the front was in 2022 and 2023, and the addition of Reed-Adams was instrumental in flipping those fortunes on their head.

The physicality and attitude he brought to the unit was unmatched on the team and in the league. Reed-Adams had to work his way up from being a low three-star prospect to a starter on a playoff team, and he earned every single bit of it.

The leadership that he embodies is worth mentioning as well. There were precious few leaders on this Aggie team when Reed-Adams arrived in College Station, but he changed the culture right away upon his arrival— no more abiding missed workouts and lackluster effort on the practice field.

This is why Aggie fans are confident that Reed-Adams will find success in the NFL, despite his draft stock dropping this year. He has the talents to hold up in the league, and all the intangibles will recommend him in a huge way. There is no doubt that he will make a splash soon in Buffalo, even though he was picked all the way in the seventh round.
