Since Bucky McMillan has changed Texas A&M basketball following the departure of Buzz Williams, he's done wonders for A&M basketball by grabbing some huge names from the portal. It looks like McMillan has already bought into A&M culture entirely, as he revealed to receive a warm welcome from Mike Elko.

While McMillan has almost constructed his roster, it's almost time to put the pieces together on the hardwood. On an episode of "The Field of 68: After Dark," McMillan revealed his plans for what he expects from his first season in College Station.

It's tough to say exactly what Aggie fans will be expecting in McMillan's debut season, but what they shouldn't expect is the same rugged style of basketball they saw with Williams.

McMillan isn't letting up on scoring "as many points as possible"

"Bucky Ball" was first inspired by his days of coaching high school in Alabama. He hated that teams would hold the ball until the end of the quarter, which inspired him to run up the court, shoot and play pressure defense.

His days at Samford made for some of the more exciting teams in the land, and now, he makes a bold claim on "The Field of 68" that he can bring those same numbers to the Aggies.

This is not to knock on Buzz at all. He helped shape a veteran team into a bunch of rugged, strong defenders. All Bucky is doing is balancing that out with his fast, offensive knowledge to make for a fun Aggie basketball team.

There was some controversy last season during an Aggie losing streak where fans were absent. If Bucky can seriously take this mentality and install it in, this could be for one of the more exciting teams that Aggie basketball fans have seen in quite a while.
