With the NFL Draft just two weeks away, Texas A&M fans are eager to see what looks to be the most historic draft night in Texas A&M history.

The Aggies are projected to have a record-breaking 12 players selected in the 2026 NFL Draft, and confidence is soaring among A&M fans for the players about to be picked, plus the talent still to come in Mike Elko's tenure. As for the draft, one A&M player has their stock surging in the right direction, while one player is seeing their stock crumble just a tad.

Mike Renner of CBS Sports wrote his own three-round mock draft, and it might not be what fans initially expected. Chase Bisontis and Cashius Howell's respective stocks have flip-flopped, with Bisontis now a first-round pick and Howell becoming a second-round pick.

Renner says Bisontis is one of the best pass protectors on the interior line, which is extremely valuable to have in the NFL. The Dolphins are a team that's in clear rebuild mode, and Bisontis could be the perfect fit to get his career started.

"The Dolphins land one of the draft's top pass protectors in Bisontis," Renner said. "His ability to maintain a firm pocket stands out on tape. He could stick on the left side and kick Jonah Savaiinaea back to the right side, where he played in college."

For Howell, Renner has him falling to the Saints at No. 42, which is early in the second round. ESPN's Matt Miller had a mock draft just two weeks ago that had Howell at No. 22. That would make a lot of sense with Khalil Mack in L.A., in addition to the loss to Odafe Oweh.

Bisontis' draft stock rising in the green direction isn't surprising, but Howell falling all the way to the early second round is. With the Cowboys in desperate need of a pass rusher, some fans can easily see Jerry Jones pulling the trigger to take Howell at No. 20 if they go for a secondary piece at No. 12.

As the SEC's leader in sacks, let's just say it's going to take a lot for Howell to drop to No. 42. Much respect to the others around there, but I can see a world where Howell is easily picked as a late first-rounder.

Either way, it's something interesting to think about with the draft just two weeks away.
