One college basketball analyst has released his way too early bracket for the 2024 March Madness tournament.

Texas A&M basketball has provided some strong hope for their case, but that will depend on their performances in SEC play this year.

It's still early to say, but this looks to be a dramatic year in the SEC. Analysts are still high on Texas A&M to be a high seed in the tournament.

Texas A&M basketball given No. 3 seed in way too early March Madness prediction

Basketball columists and Big Ten Network analyst Michael DeCourcy released his own early prediction for the March Madness bracket.

Not too many surprises, many blue bloods will be in competition like every year.

However, the Aggies are getting some high, well-deserved praise from DeCourcy.

DeCourcy has the Aggies as the No. 3 seed facing Grand Canyon in the tournament, a name that's become more familiar participating in the big dance.

The notable takeaway from this bracket is the amount of SEC teams that are high seeds. Tennessee and Auburn are at No. 1. Mississippi State and Alabama are at No. 2. Florida is at No. 4.

Usually it's the Big Ten Conference being the premier basketball conference. It's clear that the SEC has taken over at that role, at least for now.

This prediction looks promising if it does come true. I don't want to say the Aggies have a friendly bracket here, but could very well go to the Elite 8 with this bracket that DeCourcy has for us.

As for the Aggies, they'll have too much action to deal with before they can even look at becoming a three seed. They have a gauntlet of an SEC to go through.

Until then, let's just sit back and watch the fireworks.
