Easiest SEC permanent opponent draws - 1: Georgia

I think it would be hard for anyone to see the slates put out for these teams and not think that Georgia got the easiest draw out of the entire conference. It’s pretty clear just by looking at the logos.

Though Florida has been good in the past, they are in quite a state right now, and are in no place to challenge the Bulldogs regularly. You could say the same about South Carolina, as well.

Kentucky is a different story in that they hardly ever have been able to challenge the Bulldogs, and are simply not built to do so as a program right now. Mark Stoops’s philosophy on offense makes it nigh-impossible for them to get a win over a team like UGA, so unless there’s a total program makeover, that’s a win every year for Georgia.

It helps, of course, that Georgia doesn’t have to play Georgia. It also helps that they evade a team like Alabama, as electric as that yearly matchup would be. It does feel a bit frustrating to the rest of us, but it’s clear that the Bulldogs got the easiest draw here.
