Texas A&M just pulled it off again, somehow.
The Texas A&M football schedule for the 2025 season was recently released.
There are plenty of takeaways from the announcement, especially with the Aggies now going to South Bend to take on Notre Dame as a potential revenge weekend.
But the Aggies just got a blessing in disguise— here's why.
Texas A&M football once again avoids Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia and others
There's no way the schedule makers were going to make this happen again, right?
They did.
Unless it's an SEC Championship game, The Aggies will not have to face Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia or Ole Miss for a second straight season.
Aggie fans might consider this as a much deserved break after the Aggies being dumped in what was arguably the toughest division in college football for over a decade, the SEC West.
As for the schedule itself, this should be a no excuse season for Texas A&M. Everything is literally right in front of them.
The biggest stretch will be in late September to late October, and then for the Lone Star Showdown in late November, respectively.
They have Auburn and South Carolina at home, which will be statement weekends in College Station. They do have LSU to worry about at Death Valley which will probably be a night game considering the TV people loved doing that to the Aggies on the road this season.
Texas A&M and Notre Dame will probably play in an evening game on NBC— that would be unsurprising as well.
Nonetheless, the road is literally waiting for the Aggies; as for TV times on the road, that just comes with the meal of having to play a football game.
They had many chances to close the deal this year to make it to Atlanta. If not, there will be some questions as for what to do next in College Station.
