It's no secret that Texas A&M football's offensive attack this season will be centered, in large part, around the play of their offensive line and running back group. Part of what gives A&M fans such confidence in this upcoming season is the fact that both groups are extremely deep and talented.
The running back position is one of particular optimism for the Aggie faithful. It's obviously no coincidence that the Aggies' faltering down the stretch of 2024 happened to come at the exact same time as Le'Veon Moss's injury causing him to miss time from the lineup. With a healthy Moss and one heck of a stable backing him up, this should be one of the most formidable rushing attacks in the nation.
No. 8 in Maroon is the clear headliner, however. Even so, he's gone a little under-discussed in national conversations, as has been the case for the Aggies more broadly this year. However, SEC Mike, a popular X personality that conference fans either love or hate, has a strong prediction for where Moss could end up among the RBs in the conference by season's end.
SEC Mike predicts Le'Veon Moss to be top back in SEC by end of 2025
In a recent post on X, SEC Mike predicted that Moss would be the top back in the conference by the end of the season:

This isn't a surprise to Aggie fans, of course— Moss is truly an elite player at the position. He may not end up as the guy with the most yards, of course, as Klein does like to rotate players to keep them fresh, but his per-carry stats will no doubt be among the tops in the conference at the volume he's projected to have.
Moss is the only offensive player for the Aggies to make all-SEC first team in the preseason, and if this prediction holds, he'll be there at season's end as well. Though the improvement of Marcel and the receiver position are both extremely relevant variables here, the season will go as Moss goes— this is an A&M team built around the ability to ground and pound on the offensive front.
