Texas A&M is set to host quite a few highly-rated recruits over the course of this football season, but one of the top names on that list is that of 2028 five-star defensive lineman Kellan Hall. Hall, who attends school in Louisville, Kentucky, is ranked as the no. 2 overall player in the country for the 2028 cycle and is one of the top players in the country regardless of classification.

When it comes to recruiting such a prodigious talent, you can bet that there will be some pretty stiff competition— and that’s certainly the case with Hall. The Aggies are up against some of the top schools in the country in this one, with the Oklahoma Sooners currently leading the pack, according to the Recruiting Prediction Machine.

The likes of Ohio State, Alabama, and Notre Dame are also all hot on the trail here, showing that the Aggies will have no shortage of difficulty if they hope to get Hall as part of their class. However, the Aggies have one thing that none of those other schools do— after several years apart, they finally once more have their ace recruiter in Elijah Robinson.

Texas A&M can win out for 2028 5-star Kellan Hall thanks to Elijah Robinson

Robinson was the main force behind winning out in several high-level recruitments during his tenure in College Station, including that of Shemar Turner, DJ Hicks, Shemar Stewart, Walter Nolen, and others. He brought in an unbelievable number of five-star players when he was in Aggieland last, and Hall may be his first big fish to reel in in the 2028 class.

Kellan Hall is going to be one of the most coveted names in the sport, but with Robinson in A&M’s corner, everyone else is playing from behind. Hall is set to visit Aggieland on October 3 for the game against Arkansas, and you can bet that will be a needle-mover for him when it happens— it’s what Robinson does.

The man they call E-Rob is no stranger to winning in these massive battles— Shemar Turner was a head to head win over Texas, DJ Hicks was expected to commit to Oklahoma right up until he put on the Aggie hat, Shemar Stewart chose Texas A&M over his hometown Miami Hurricanes, and Walter Nolen was heavily pursued by Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee before eventually choosing Texas A&M.

That’s all due to Robinson’s influence. Pound for pound, he may be the best recruiter in the nation when it comes to defensive linemen, and he’s back in the maroon and white to bring in some huge wins on the recruiting trail.
