ESPN College Gameday was in Knoxville, Tennessee for the Georgia-Tennessee game. Rocky Top was on fire, but so were the Texas A&M fans when the Gameday crew picked Notre Dame.

The celebrity guest picker was one of the best WNBA players of all-time in Candace Parker. She picked Tennessee, but also admitted that Notre Dame was going to be ready after a loss and a bye week.

Here's what the GameDay crew picked for the Aggies-Irish for Saturday night.

Desmond Howard: Notre Dame

The former Wolverine and Super Bowl champion picked the Irish, saying something similar to everybody. Notre Dame simply needs this more than Texas A&M. While the Aggies did have a couple of cupcakes to start the season, they looked ready as well.

Nick Saban: Notre Dame

Arguably the greatest college football coach of all-time seemed convinced that the Irish would not go down 0-2. It would be the first time the Irish go 0-2 since 1997. The Irish definitely need this more, which makes Saban comfortable with the Irish.

Pat McAfee: Texas A&M

The Aggies' only hope came from Pat McAfee, the vocal star of the show. McAfee joked that Mike Elko's head has only "grown since last year," which prompted him to be motivated to pick Texas A&M. McAfee also clarified that A&M was his own superdog, so it's almost like he had to pick the Aggies.

Candace Parker: Notre Dame

The celebrity guest picker made her pick quickly, saying Notre Dame should be able to win.

Kirk Herbstreit: Notre Dame

'Herbie', as Brent Musburger would call him, stated the same as most others. A bye week after a tough loss to Miami should motivate this team to win the game. Aggie fans probably couldn't care less about being the underdog, in fact, they embrace it. Let's find out after the game to see if McAfee was the lone wolf, or if the GameDay crew was actually right.
