Texas A&M football has placed two players on ESPN's preseason All-American list for college football, according to an article that dropped this morning. Ar'Maj Reed-Adams landed one of the guard spots on the first team, right beside Alabama's Kadyn Proctor, and linebacker Taurean York made the second team behind Pittsburgh's Kyle Louis.
Other names of note for Aggie fans are former commit Anthony Hill at one of the linebacker spots, one-time Aggie lean Cade Klubnik as first team quarterback, Notre Dame CB Leonard Moore and running back Jeremiyah Love as another pair of first-teamers, and former Aggie player LT Overton as a first-string defensive lineman.
This is a high honor for both Reed-Adams and York, two guys that have been racking quite a few of them this preseason. The two Aggie captains are both well-deserving fo this kind of recognition, of course, and Reed-Adams figures to be a high NFL draft pick when he exhausts his eligibility, with York standing a chance there as well— but by season's end, we could see even more Aggies getting this kind of honor.

Reed-Adams helps anchor what should be an extremely solid offensive line for the Aggies this season, but I've got my eye on the other guard on that line to get some recognition as the year goes on. Chase Bisontis has been criminally under-discussed so far this offseason, as he's a guy that could also end up pushing for a first-round selection when all is said and done.
Zuhn, Fatheree, Nabou, Crownover, and Faaiu all have a lot going for them as well, but I don't think any one of them will rise higher than Bisontis. On the other side, I think we could see Scooby Williams in for a huge year as well. He was one of A&M's best players on defense last year, and that was playing through a torn meniscus for the entire season.
Love is a deserving first-team selection at RB, as is Kaytron Allen from Penn State for the second team, but Le'Veon Moss could also be ready to open some eyes if he gets through the season healthy. KC Concepcion was a well-heralded portal pickup, but it will be difficult to unseat Jeremiah Smith and Ryan Williams.
A lot would have to go right for these guys to get consideration, and there's no way they all make it at the same time. But these are some names that, if the season goes well, could end up on a list like this come January.
