KC Concepcion is looking to be a first-round pick for a lucky NFL team in less than a month.

ESPN's Field Yates has Concepcion to the Miami Dolphins in his latest mock draft. It makes a lot of sense, considering the Dolphins are moving in a completely different direction without Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

Of course, the Dolphins have some serious questions next year with Tua Tagovailoa's departure and Malik Willis's addition. The Dolphins might as well tank for the following season, but it shouldn't stop Concepcion from having a heck of a rookie campaign, that is, if the Dolphins take him.

KC Concepcion could be a perfect fit for the Miami Dolphins

"Following the release of Tyreek Hill and trade of Jaylen Waddle, Miami's wide receivers group is inarguably the thinnest in the NFL. Adding Concepcion would be a step in the right direction. He's among the most explosive players in the class, hauling in 25 receiving touchdowns in just three seasons and taking two punt returns to the house in 2025."

With a new Dolphins offense that will clearly be in rebuild mode, it could bring a new personnel full of new faces, and one of those faces should be Concepcion.

Yates adds that Concepcion's lack of size is a weak spot, and his drops must get cleaned up. Size hasn't mattered in the past for some receivers, so Concepcion could make it work.

Denzel Boston is right next to Concepcion in the mock draft, going to the New England Patriots. Concepcion has been linked to the Pats, too, but a team like the Dolphins is where he can get most of his bread and butter to start his NFL career.

Drake Maye and Concepcion could be a nice pairing, too, but there's Romeo Doubs and Kayshon Boutte to worry about to disrupt Concepcion's reps. Willis and Concepcion don't sound attractive, but it could just take some getting used to for both parties.
