Grading Texas A&M football's coaching hires - Holmon Wiggins, WRs/Co-OC

For as much as Taylor is respected as a recruiter, Holmon Wiggins was even more so. It seemed like a truly huge coup to pull him away from Tuscaloosa, so this was initially regarded as one of the biggest wins for the Aggies when it came to coaching hires.

The returns so far, though, while not dismal, have not been quite what fans expected. The receivers have been underwhelming from a production standpoint up until now, though there were plenty of reasons for optimism after the Missouri game.

It's not been what fans hoped on the recruiting trail, either. The Aggies do have a few exciting prospects committed, but have played second fiddle thus far when it comes to some of the heavyweight battles at the position.

In all fairness, it takes a little while to undo the reputation that Jimbo and his staff garnered at that spot, and there's still time to make some noise on the trail this cycle. But considering things up until now, it feels unfair to give Wiggins anything higher than this—though there's definite signs of improvement.
