December 29, 2014: Texas A&M football 45, West Virginia 37

Fast forward one year, and the Aggies are in a much different spot. The 2014 season was a complete roller coaster, with the Ags going from highly regarded, to losing terribly to Alabama, to beating a top-3 Auburn team on the road.

After some QB shuffling, the Aggies settled on Kyle Allen as their signal caller, and he guided them to a win over the West Virginia Mountaineers in the 2014 Liberty Bowl. That WVU team boasted a high-powered offense featuring star WR Kevin White, and was coached by Dana Holgerson.

The Ags ended up pulling out a victory on a freezing afternoon in Memphis against the favored Mountaineers. A late touchdown by WVU made this one look a little closer than it was when all was said and done, but this was a pretty dominant win for the Aggies to move their December record since joining the SEC to 2-0.
