Texas A&M released their first injury report of the year last night— something that is only required for conference games, of which they'll play their first this Saturday— and something on there caught the eye of Aggie fans.
I suppose that it may be more apt to say that something not on there caught the eye of Aggie fans. After failing to appear in any of the Aggies' first three games due to a fall camp injury, senior offensive tackle Reuben Fatheree did not appear on the injury report for this game.

The names that many Aggie fans expected to see on there, Bryce Anderson and Scooby Williams, did appear, however. Scooby is still listed as questionable, meaning about a 50% chance that he'll play, and Anderson is listed as out in accordance with what Mike Elko mentioned in his presser on Monday.
Texas A&M could be getting huge piece back from injury for Auburn game
Fatheree's presence would be highly significant for this Aggie team. He's not only physically massive, but extremely skilled— look no further than how he shut down Alabama's Will Anderson while only a true freshman— and was reportedly having one of his best stretches of practice before the injury.
If the Aggies were able to put Fatheree out there on the line, it would allow them to be even more adaptable and versatile up front. Current starting tackle Trey Zuhn can play center if needed, while Mark Nabou and Koli Faaiu, who share those snaps as of right now, could play guard.
This kind of switchability would allow Texas A&M to determine the best matchups for these ferocious defensive lines they'll be facing. Auburn's Keldrick Faulk is a towering defensive end— one of the best in the entire country— and so maybe another large body like that of Fatheree would be best-suited to block him.
Of course, it's possible they ease him back in from injury and don't give him a full set of snaps in this first game of the year. In any case, Fatheree returning is very significant for this Aggie team going forward, only strengthening an already-strong unit.
