Mike Elko acknowledged that his defense couldn't tackle LaNorris Sellers last season. He also added that they're better suited to tackle him down this season, and the Aggies are the heavy favorite with all the weapons they have.

This isn't the same Aggies we saw last season when they couldn't defend anyone in coverage, and the South Carolina game was a prerequisite to the poor coverage we saw against USC. Now, fans are pretty one-sided on the upcoming game. Some fans aren't resting on the fact that Sellers is still a weapon who's a tough guy to bring down, but the Aggies will be ready.

Here's what fans have been saying on all the forum pages this week.

Fans are mostly confident in Texas A&M victory

First, we want to highlight one of the Texas A&M fans who want to give South Carolina credit for the threat they pose.

"How in the hell is Sellers averaging less than 20 yards per game rushing? Dude is a beast. Makes me nervous."

One South Carolina replied to that by saying the offensive line is "awful."

Users have commented on a YouTube video from SEC Unfiltered previewing the game, and some aren't being as nice to South Carolina.

"While nothing is guaranteed in football, the Aggies should crush SC. It won’t even be close."

Another user noticed the difference between the 2024 and 2025 seasons, respectively.

"A&M was one-dimensional last year. The star RB Moss went out of the game early. This year is different."

One user makes a pretty hilarious comparison on the Gamecocks laying an egg this season.

"What happened to SC this year? They went from contenders to chicken tenders."

Everything is in the Aggies' favor, but the PTSD of Sellers running everywhere is still in the back of our heads.
