Texas A&M's top receiver, Mario Craver, is a game-time decision according to the latest injury report from the Aggies. Craver has been listed as questionable since the initial report came out back on Wednesday night.

No. 1 has been one of the most potent weapons so far this season on a struggling Texas A&M offense, so to be without him for this game— as bad of an opponent as Arkansas is— would be an ill portent. Craver has recorded 22 receptions for 225 yards so far this season, adding 2 touchdowns to go along with it.
Craver saw a sharp uptick in his usage rate when the Aggies took on Kentucky two weeks ago— though that was a dreadful result for the Aggies, it was far from his fault. Getting the ball in his hands has to be one of the top priorities for the Aggies whenever he's out on the field— his penchant for explosive plays is something they desperately need, as they are severely lacking in that department this season.
Mario Craver still a game-time decision according to final injury report
Of course, the fact that rain has been steadily coming down all day in College Station casts a bit of doubt on the prospect that the pass game will feature prominently tonight anyway. If Craver is able to go, he could make just as much of an impact in the short passing game as he would going down the field thanks to the way the weather conditions currently are.
Even so, the threat of having him out there against a defense that is not exactly fleet of foot is something that will help Holmon Wiggins and the entire offensive operation. Craver is a known quantity in the league, and you can't leave him single-covered if he's out there on the field, no matter whether he's dealing with an injury or not.
Tamarion Watkins and Terry Bussey are out for the Aggies in this one. Bussey is gone for the season after an injury against Kentucky, while Watkins was a later add to the injury report. He had been getting increasing playing time up until this point, but will miss this game with something that ostensibly occurred late this week in practice.
Hopefully we will see Craver out there against Kentucky today, even if it is in more of a limited role. There was worry about wear and tear with increased usage given his smaller frame, and that remains with this latest injury news. The Aggies need to get their pass game back functioning again in the worst way, but they can't do so at the expense of the health of one of their best players in the receiving corps.
