Five players who Texas A&M football needs back in 2025: Le'Veon Moss
As this past season wore on, especially after the LSU game, Aggie fans began to speak as though it were a virtual certainty that star running back Le'Veon Moss were headed to the draft after this year. After all, it has become common practice for RBs to make an early move to the league, given the wear and tear that can occur at the position.
However, in the South Carolina game, that changed. When Moss sustained what looked to be a pretty nasty injury and was ruled out for the rest of the year, the calculus shifted significantly.
If Moss is unable to participate in a pro day or the NFL Combine, then returning to the Aggies may be his best prospect. If so, then that provides a huge boost to the A&M backfield; one that will hopefully be much healthier and able to balance carries going forward. This could be a win-win, despite the unfortunate circumstances that precipitated it.
