Five Texas A&M players who may not be back next year: WR KC Concepcion
This one is all but certain to happen, of course. There's really been no official announcement from KC, but there's little if any doubt among fans that he will be headed to the big leagues after this season concludes for the Maroon and White.
Concepcion came in as a transfer from NC State and one of the top players in the portal, and many understood at that point that this was a year he was looking to build his draft stock before making the jump to the NFL. He's had a better season than anyone anticipated up until this point, becoming an integral part of the Aggies' explosive passing attack.
Accordingly, he's been leaping up draft boards. He could have been as high as a third-round pick coming into the year, but now you see some projections for him to go in the first round. With receiver being such a high-value position in the league, he could be right up there with some of the top prospects in the draft, especially with a huge close to the season.
Texas A&M fans will be sad to see him go, and if the door is cracked at all, the coaches have to do whatever they can to keep him around. That may not come to fruition, however, so I think it's likely that we see Concepcion in the league next year.
