According to reports, it looks like Texas A&M football will face off against one of their former highly-regarded players in 2025.

Texas A&M football's 2022 recruiting class will be remembered as legendary for many reasons. The run up to signing day was maybe one of the best times ever to be an Aggie fan, as A&M was hosting and receiving commitments from high-level players left and right.

The final product that was put together was tough to forget as well, as the Ags registered the best recruiting class of all time, per the numbers, when all was said and done. Of course, the rumors that began to fly about are well-remembered, too— thanks, Sliced Bread.

But maybe most painful for Aggie fans has been the flameout from that class. Within one year, several players that A&M fans thought could be cornerstones— Denver Harris, PJ Williams, Anthony Lucas, Chris Marshall— had all departed.

Within two years, guys like Evan Stewart and Walter Nolen joined them. Now, Conner Weigman— the guy who A&M fans had the highest hopes for— is on his way out, and Shemar Stewart is headed to the NFL.

The final five-star from that epic haul has now made his decision to transfer— and it looks like the Aggies will face off against him. Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy announced today that he is committing to the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Dindy was a flip from the Oklahoma Sooners from right before signing day. He was coming off of an injury in high school, and though he had massive potential, he never quite broke the rotation for a loaded Aggie defensive line.

By all accounts, he's been a stellar locker room guy, and he stuck with the Ags for longer than most expected, given his dearth of snaps. Hopefully he thrives with the Gamecocks next year— in all but one game, that is.
