Texas A&M football fans all fondly remember the days when the Aggies were considered to have the best receiving corps in the conference. Those days are long gone at this point, but with the way Mike Elko, Holmon Wiggins, and company have been recruiting, they could be coming back sooner rather than later.
One of the fan favorites during that time was junior college transfer Josh Reynolds, who turned out to be an extremely productive player for the Aggies. Reynolds roamed Kyle Field from 2014 all the way to 2016, and he was making productive plays the entire time.
From a long touchdown against Arkansas in his first year in Maroon and White all the way to mossing Kansas State corners in his final game, Reynolds was the epitome of a playmaker during his time in College Station. He's been solid (if not a star) during his time in the NFL, but a few years into his career, he could be about to break out.

Clips have been emerging of Reynolds going up against the New York Jets' Sauce Gardner in camp, and the former Aggie receiver has been winning a lot of those matchups. You can see an example below:

Look, one clip is one clip, but this shows Reynolds operating at the top of his game against one of the best defenders in the entire league. If this is the level he's playing at during this season, this could be his best yet.
Reynolds has been a great player for the Rams and the Lions, and now he could make a big time contribution on this Jets squad. There are still a lot of question marks in New York, but Reynolds could be turning into a really reliable option at receiver up in the Big Apple.
