Texas A&M football just beefed up their DT room just hours before the Florida game. Elijah Patmon, four-star defensive tackle from Warner Robins, Georgia, announced earlier in the week that he was bound to visit Aggieland for the Florida game, but it seems he didn't even the help of the 12th Man to make his decision.
Patmon was flirting with other schools like Georgia, Alabama and Nebraska. This should've been Kirby Smart territory, but Mike Elko has done it again.
Patmon's abilities are pretty incredible, and at 6-foot-4, 292 pounds, it's safe to say that Texas A&M is getting a tank.
Patmon officially gives the thumbs up to the Aggies
I want to thank God for giving me the strength to pursue my dreams. I want to thank my family and coaches for their endless support and guidance through this journey. The recruiting process has been a blessing. I’m proud to announce that I am COMMITTED to Texas A&M University! pic.twitter.com/7YkusOvPxY

Patmon himself made the announcement on 'X', and other outlets followed along. The Aggies are getting a good one here, folks.
It's crazy to say this, but Patmon's abilities already look very mature for his age. His hand movement to help himself break away from offensive linemen are very similar to a pro. This guy has a massive frame and can cause havoc in the backfield in a hurry.
Patmon also does a great job anticipating the snap, and this is something like that Mike Elko is already going to love when Patmon makes his debut in Aggieland come 2027.
He's a perfect size as well, as he's not even over 300 pounds, but has a big enough frame to cause chaos anyway. Some SEC fans will remember big Desmond Watson from Florida, who was around 450 pounds during his time with the Gators. The Buccaneers have been on him to lose weight, but this is a great example of how the four-star recruit from Georgia is in great shape.
Patmon will definitely love Texas A&M more after his visit, and it's pretty amazing to see Elko winning already in the 2027 class.
