Grading every SEC team's transfer portal haul: Georgia
The Bulldogs have made some big time additions via the portal, even though they've only brought in players at two positions thus far. It became clear for the Bulldogs that their receiver room wasn't championship caliber, and so they went out and addressed that well.
Noah Thomas and Zach Branch are two ends of the spectrum when it comes to physical skillsets, but both have some elite top-end speed. It's a gamble to go with Mike Bobo, but we know this: if the UGA passing offense doesn't take a big step forward next year, then there's something really wrong.
I won't hold the loss of Carson Beck against UGA in this grade since they were expecting to lose him anyway. Nor will I hold the loss of Rara Thomas against them, for similar reasons.
