Florida's passing game versus Texas A&M's pass defense
As high as the highs can look for Florida's passing game, the lows can look just as low. Florida quarterback DJ Lagway looked great against Texas — completing 75 percent of his passes for nearly 300 yards and two scores. However, he's also the same quarterback that completed 64 percent of his passes for two touchdowns and six interceptions during the Gators' three-game losing streak.
This passing attack has always flowed up and down depending on the week, but one reason to believe that upward trend may continue is the addition of its most talented wideout. Dallas Wilson is a five-star freshman who suffered a lower-leg injury in fall camp and was unable to play until this past weekend.
He looked dominant, catching six balls for 111 yards and two scores against a talented Texas secondary, and really opened up the downfield passing game for Florida's offense. This team was averaging 5.4 yards per attempt through their first four games, and averaged 10.6 yards per attempt on Saturday.

While I can certainly think this Florida group has more in the tank than what it showed through weeks 1-5, to say that it's all solved because of one strong home game is a bit of a stretch. The Aggies still have a top-30 pass defense and get to the quarterback better than all but three teams in this sport, and Florida has still been prone to allowing hits on the quarterback with a sack rate allowed of 5.67 percent.
The ceiling might be high for Florida's passing attack, but its floor is far too shaky — meaning Texas A&M takes home three of these four positional battle matchups.
The edge goes to ... Texas A&M
