Texas A&M basketball is bound for March Madness once again. The Aggies have now made the NCAA tournament for three years in a row, which is a pretty remarkable success given the history of this program.

The Aggies enter the tournament after a bit of a bumpy last few weeks. The Aggies lost some uncharacteristic games over the final stretch, but they beat the no. 1 Auburn Tigers at home for one of the best victories in program history. After that, though, the Ags were bounced from the SEC Tournament in game one after losing in a double-overtime thriller.

The opening weekend of March Madness is always a huge amount of fun, too. It can be hectic, trying to keep up with every single game and keep eyes on potential upsets, but it's always a great time. Here's everything you need to know about how to catch the Aggies in their first-round matchup.

How do I watch Texas A&M basketball in March Madness?

Time: 6:25 PM CT/7:25 PM ET
Date: Thursday, March 20, 2025
Location: Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado
TV: TBS or streaming
Texas A&M record: 22-10 (11-7 SEC)
Yale record: 22-7 (13-1 Ivy League)
Texas A&M NET ranking: 18th
Yale NET ranking: 72nd

The raw numbers certainly favor the Aggies in this one, but that hasn't stopped some college basketball luminaries from leaning towards an upset. The Bulldogs certainly have the chops to pull such a result off, as we've seen in previous years in this tournament.

Hopefully, the Aggies can play to their talent and suffocate a potent three-point attack for the Bulldogs. It's not a great matchup for the Ags, and there will be some interesting issues with the altitude in Denver, but this is definitely a winnable game.
